CHOSEN FAMILY

I loved being able to showcase this piece this month at BIBI BABY & YOUphoria. Chosen Family was a project that I created for my community. The people around you should accept you for you without ultimatums. I love being Queer because when I am in community there is freedom, and there is room to exist as myself. I find euphoria in my life from being immersed in spaces where I can feel seen, and not feel tokenized. I express euphoria through my art by showcasing and giving my community a platform to extend their light, and their joy. It’s important to embrace your community now by giving them their flowers. Hold space for your loved ones and all that they are, without trying to change who they are.
