The Black Experience

I was asked to participate and show work for an exhibit that highlighted the importance of recognizing Black excellence. This opportunity was in collaboration with Kerlita Johnson. Kerlita transformed a range of photographs into magazine covers that captured 27 beautiful black people. The covers shared their perspectives on what it feels like to live in their skin. The conversation was also about how they viewed themselves, their culture and most importantly how they feel society plays a part in it all.
